Heavenly Stem and Earth Branch Interaction 干支作用
Heavenly Stem is Yang Fire 丙 and can transform into Water in specific conditions.
Earthly Branch is Dog 戌 of the Yang Earth as the apparent and containts Yin Metal and Yin Fire within. There are two specific conditions that can have Dog’s apparent Yang Earth to be transformed into Fire.
Changes in your courses of action can take place if the above transformations do take place in your personal Ba Zi natal chart.
On the surface it looks like the Yang Fire generates Dog, in deeper understading, Dog is the vault for Yang Fire and instead of sapping the Fire element, it actually strengtens Fire. Autumn associates with the Metal element and this month being a strong Fire element, may be understood as standing against a trend or counterchecking the authority or those with power.

As I am practicing a new Ba Zi technique, I have come across this interesting way for monthly forecast. Thought it may be of interest, hence include here for reference.
For Yang Fire Dog month 丙戌月, the 12 Deities of Linked Palaces comination is:
Sovereign over Spender 太歲坐小耗
Sovereign denotes responsibilities and gaining attention, maybe too much of it. Spender can mean literally overspends and sometimes can mean having facts turnaround against you.This combination can mean spending additional effort or resources at work; can also mean receiving fine and general hiccups at work.

🧭Feng Shui Caution
Please take not that the negative Flyings Stars combinations is more likely to manifest either your annual Ba Zi trend is not good or have specfic combinations in your Ba Zi chart that matches similar or equal types of events and if you are active in that directional sector over 3 hours consecutively.
The Monthly Flying Star 2 Sickness and Annual Flying Star 1 Officer both come to the Southeast – this can be read as career, reputation and even money luck can take a dent this month.
The Monthly Flying Star 5 Misfortune and Annual Flying Star 4 Academic both come to the West – this can be read as unexpected challenge arises at work, school or applying for government position/contracts.
To minimise the negative manifestation, you can move to other sectors in that space every 3 hours for 15 minutes to break the momentum.

The traditional Mooncake Festival. Other than eating mooncakes, I have observed that in Taiwan, they would eat grilled meats. No idea why’s that.
Commemoration Day for Tai Yin Goddess 太陰娘娘誕
Tai Yin in Divination contains a few association but in folklore practice, it is often deem as the deified Moon.

Commemoration Day for Great Sage Equals to Heaven 齊天大聖誕
More commonly known as the Monkey God Sun Wukong! Deified novel character that is well known and received in Chinese communities around the world.
21 Oct 九月初一 (Tue)
Descend of the Lords of the Southern Dipper 南斗下降日
A group of very important and high ranking Deities in the Taoist pantheon but not often mentioned. They rule over the lifespans of mankind. Often relates to prayers for longevity and averting misfortune.
21 to 29 Oct 九月初一至初九 (Tue to Wed)
Descend of the Lords of the Northern Dipper 北斗九皇降世日
Not only a group of very important and high ranking Deities in the Taoist pantheon but very well received in Chinese communities around the world. Prayers for longevity and averting misfortune are also often made to these Lords during thes 9 days. The Lords of the Northen Dipper is so popular that there is a specific Medicine Buddha patheon made as an adapted version to the Lords of the Northern Dipper.
29 Oct 九月初九 (Wed)
Chong Yang Jie / Double Ninth Festival 重陽節
The name of this festival is taken from I-Ching, where the number 9 ascribes to the Yang and having 2 nines, means double Yang. Traditional, this day marks the celebration of good harvest and rituals made to the Gods as an expression of thanksgiving.
Ascend of Lord Guan 關帝飛昇日
This is one of the less common marked day to commemorate the ascend of Lord Guan, more commonly known as Guan Gong, a historical figure that has being deified and very wel accepted in the Chinese communities. He stands for Loyalty, Righteousness, Benevolence and Courageous.
Commemoraton Day for Na Zha / Marshal of the Central Altar 哪吒誕 / 中壇元帥
A very popular and well received Deity in the Chinese communities. Now made known better by the recent movies. Originally a deva found in buddhist scriptures but adapted into pantheon of Chinese Deities. A powerful Deity that can handle on his own.
8 Nov 九月十九 (Sat)
Pravrajya Day for Guanyin 觀音出家日
This is folklore inspired day that marks Guanyin’s renunciation. Renunciation often gets painted as giving up by general media or even Buddhism. However, renunciation actually meant a deep commeitment, so deep that it has cut the old you away.
17 Nov 九月廿八 (Mon)
Commemoration Day for Lord Hua Guang 華光大帝誕
Lord Hua Guang is an important and well known Deity in both Taoist pantheon and Chinese community. He is a martial Deity and known for banishing evil forces. He is also known as a Fire Deity and also a Pateron to Cantonese opera troupe.
