Almanac Forecast from 7 Sep to 8 Oct (solar calendar) and 7th crossing into 8th Lunar Month

Good day to everyone!

We are entering into the Chinese solar calendar of the Yin Wood Rooster month 乙酉月 from late afternoon on 7 Sep (Sun).

It is the middle of Autumn season.

📅Month Overview – 7 Sep to 8 Oct (☀️solar calendar)

Heavenly Stem and Earth Branch Interaction 干支作用

Earthly Branch is Rooster 酉 is a pure Yin Metal element contains no other elements within.

The pure Yin Metal element not just controls the Heavenly Stem Yin Wood 乙 that sits on top, this particular combination has a clash interaction that comes within. This may be understood that the month can moves fast and abrupt. And also because it is the bottom controlling and clashing the top, it can mean overcoming power, limits and attempt in cutting through entanglements.

Rooster’s pure Yin Metal in specific conditions can make other elements transform into Metal.

Even this Yin Wood on the top can be transformed into Metal in specific conditions.

You can attract more confrontation or you attempting to rebel against the norm if the Metal element overwhelms in your natal chart.

Changes in your courses of action can take place if the above transformations do take place in your personal Ba Zi natal chart.

12 Deities of Linked Palaces 串宮十二神

As I am practicing a new Ba Zi technique, I have come across this interesting way for monthly forecast. Thought it may be of interest, hence include here for reference.

For Yin Wood Rooster month 乙酉月, the 12 Deities of Linked Palaces comination is:

Mourner over Instigator 吊客坐官符

Mourner denotes petty people gossiping behind you and Instigator, at times can be harbinger of good news, but in this combination, it can mean casual chat can be misunderstood and brings hurdle to your tasks on hand.

Do note that 12 Deities of Tai Sui is calculate based on the current year, hence the monthly forecast can be understood as what happens externally. How it manifest exactly and to what intensity has to study with your natal chart to understand the overall interactions.

⚠️Days to Take Note

Avoid making hasty decisions 月破
Sep – 7 (Sun) and 19 (Fri)
Oct – 1 (Wed)

Avoid getting into conflict 月刑
Sep – 13 (Sat) and 25 (Thu)
Oct – 7 (Oct)

Avoid getting sabotaged or subject of gossips 月害
Sep – 14 (Sun) and 26 (Fri)
Oct – 8 (Wed)

The above days were flagged based solely on Almanac considerations. Those who had your Ba Zi natal chart read by me likely have other dates to take note.

🧭Feng Shui Caution

Please take not that the negative Flyings Stars combinations is more likely to manifest either your annual Ba Zi trend is not good or have specfic combinations in your Ba Zi chart that matches similar or equal types of events and if you are active in that directional sector over 3 hours consecutively.

The Monthly Flying Star 2 Sickness and Annual Flying Star 9 Happiness both come to the East – this can bring a boost to studious luck.

The Monthly Flying Star 5 Misfortune and Annual Flying Star 3 Conflict both come to the Northwest – this can mean getting into hostile competition and hiccups at work.

To minimise the negative manifestation, you can move to other sectors in that space every 3 hours for 15 minutes to break the momentum.

🎇Folk Commemoration Days (🌙lunar calendar)

6 Sep 七月初十五 (Sat)
Zhongyuan / Ullambana Festival 中元節 / 盂蘭盆節
Zhongyuan Festival is of Taoist origin and Ullambana Festival is of the Chinese Buddhist origin. A very good example of syncretism of cultural practices. The day that is believed to have rituals done for the benefit of hungry ghosts and deceased loved ones and ancestors. What is often overlooked is that it is also the Commemoration Day for the Earth Officer 地官誕 and He is known to grant clemency to mortals’ transgressions. Chinese Buddhists overlapping this day with Sangha Day as mentioned in the Ullambana Sutra. However, this day is observed differently in other Buddhist tradition.

Regardless, this day ought not to be taken as an eerie day but, should you participate, a day to practice a genuine kindness to fellow sentient beings that are not in good conditions, without you having to set any conditions.

10 Sep 七月初十九 (Wed)

Also known more affectionately as Di Zang Pu Sa in Chinese communities. One of the Five Great Bodhisattva in Chinese Mahayana Buddhism and is the epitome of Vow 大願, Often overlooked as simply a Bodhisattva that guides and liberates beings that are suffering in hell, Di Zang’s vows represents steadfast and deep commitment in one’s path. We need not save souls in hell like He does, but we can reflect are we as resolute as He is.

The interesting thing about the Chinese Kitchen God is nothing related to culinary arts but about the conduct and morals of the family,. This can be understood from the practice of sending Kitchen God to the Heavens for reporting at end of the lunar calendar year.

Mid-autumn Festival 中秋節
The traditional Mooncake Festival. Other than eating mooncakes, I have observed that in Taiwan, they would eat grilled meats. No idea why’s that.

Tai Yin in Divination contains a few association but in folklore practice, it is often deem as the deified Moon.

The next one has nothing to do with Chinese metaphysics…

I am currently doing a part time degree in Guidance and Counselling from Northumbria University.
And in this term, I am doing a subject that requires me to practice mentoring skills.

I can only practice this by having a mentee to work with. A mentee has to have an issue/challenge that he/she would like to work about it. Example of an issue can be difficulty in reading, challenges in communicating with colleague, etc.

I am required to have at least 3 mentor sessions with 30 minutes per session. I will require to voice record our sessions for me to reflect how I have conducted myself in these sessions. The transcript won’t be submitted and more importantly you will stay anonymous and identified as “mentee” in my assignment.

Do WhatsApp me directly if you would like to help me in my mentoring practice!
